110 Sales Email Templates That Guarantee Conversions

Email marketing is still one of the most effective methods for increasing sales and conversions.

However, one of the biggest issues I see among email marketers is that they are at a loss when it comes to crafting the perfect sales email.

So to make things super easy – I have put together the ultimate list of Sales Email Templates that you can use to generate more sales and conversions.

Whilst some of these may be ready to start using right away you will need to tailor them to match your own business or email marketing strategy.

The way to get the best results is to study each one carefully, consider how it can relate to your business and then turn them into your own!

Here are a few essential email marketing guidelines to always keep in mind:

  • Make it about them, not about you
  • Keep it short, ideally 4 sentences max (make it interest and mobile friendly)
  • Use language that’s conversational
  • The smaller the ask the easier to answer
  • Follow up, and follow up your follow ups
  • Make use of the outbound email automation tools available to optimize your process
  • BUT beware of the pitfalls of Email Tracking (open rates are almost vanity metric, what you really care about is engagement)
  • The more personalized, the better (e.g. their name, company, industry, competitors, unique situation, reference a real case, language they use offer a specific solution)

Now that we’re old friends, if you had to give your current payroll provider a score between 1 and 10 what would it be?

If you didn’t just yell “10!” at your monitor, here are two very simple, very good reasons why we should have a quick conversation about moving {!company}’s payroll to Gusto:
Things move faster on Gusto. Running payroll takes anywhere between 36 seconds and 10 minutes.

Hi!

I hope this email finds you well. I’m John from Front — we were part of the S14 batch of YC, with the mission to build the future of email communication for business.

I’m reaching out because several companies from your batch already use Front, primarily to manage their customer support. I don’t know what you’re currently using today, but in case you’re thinking about switching away from it or just improving your communications process, I’d love show you how Front compares with email-based support or more traditional helpdesk platforms.

Would you be available to chat in the coming days?

Thanks so much!

To whom it may concern,

I have made several attempts to reach you, and have had no response. With the rapid growth and success of the retargeting market, this will be the last time that I reach out to you. I was looking over your website and I really feel that this could be a great fit to increase the conversions on your website.

AdRoll is a Inc. 500 marketing company. We designed our platform to help decrease your shopping cart abandonment and increase your online conversions. On average, only 2-3% of your customers convert when first coming to the site. We aim to bring that other 97% back.
If you feel that this still is not the right fit for you, please email me and let me know. Otherwise, please give me a call so we can get you started on a free account. Keep in mind this platform has no startup fees, no spend commitments, and no barriers to exit.

This will be the last time that I reach out to introduce you to this concept of retargeting.
There is a link to my calendar in my signature below, feel free to schedule some time with me.

Thanks in advance,

Hi {!first_name},

I hope this message finds you well. My name is John Doe and I manage Sales Development for Swiftype. I wanted to quickly reach out to you regarding site search and how we can benefit {!company}.

A little bit about us: Swiftype offers a customizable cloud based modern search engine that gives technical and non technical customers flexibility and control over their websites ability in directing customers to the most relevant items and articles. After taking a look at the {!company} website, I really think your business would benefit from our services.

Here are THREE compelling reasons (of many) for why you should take a call with us:

City of Wilson – “Now that the site is primarily search-driven via Swiftype, we can confidently guide citizens and employees to what they need.”

EO Media Case Study – An increase in users (43%), sessions (17%) and new (46%) and returning (31%) users, 145% increase in ad revenue – 175% increase in users viewing a second

UPS Battery Center – “We didn’t want to do any serious engineering because we lack the financial resources to dedicate a staff team to search. We wanted something that works – an out-of-the-box solution.”

I would love the opportunity to share more of why you need Swiftype and how we can help your clients. How’s Tuesday next week look for a 15 minute call?

I’m with Velocify and we work with tech companies to help accelerate their team’s performance, keep pipeline data clean and boost revenue with a simple, yet robust, CRM platform. Do you currently have anything like this in place?

Here’s an example of how we helped Zuman increase their booked sales meetings by 180% in their first month of implementation.

It looks like {!company} could benefit from our solution like other companies have.I’d like to learn more about your sales organization and see if Velocify could be a good fit for the team. Do you have a few minutes today or next week for a call to discuss?

Best,
John

That said, curious if you are building a sales team yet. Are you open to checking out a sales tool that will keep Opportunities and Leads from slipping through the cracks? It integrates really nicely within Salesforce and other CRMs to help keep your data clean and organized.

I promise not to waste your time if you’ll give me 10 minutes. What do you think?

Body:

Hi {!first_name},

Happy Monday. I saw your company on LinkedIn and wanted to reach out. Cool to see what you guys are doing!

Wanted to reach out because I’m working with some clients in your space on a really interesting marketing performance project. Given your background, I think you would find the strategy compelling. Would love to tell you more.

Here’s the quick pitch:
We solve two problems:
#1, marketing budgets are allocated in hundreds of different places. Making sense of it all is cumbersome, annoying, and slow.
#2, it’s hard to access and share marketing performance data. Decisions get fogged. It discourages curiosity.
My company Datorama created a platform that does end to end media performance management.
We completely eliminates the need to do data cleansing, harmonization, and manual data manipulation.
Lot’s of awesome stories from my other clients like L’Oreal, Chevron, & Ticketmaster.

Let me know if I can get on your dance card this week.

Looking forward,
John

Based on what we’re seeing with other sales organizations, your sales reps are most likely wasting 14-20% of their day searching or creating marketing content. That means significant hours spent away from core selling activities.

Automatically push proven, winning content to reps through Salesforce at the right time during the sales cycle.

Your sales and marketing peers report this cuts ramp up in half and helps under-performing reps share relevant content like your “rainmakers”.

Hi {!first name},

I am writing in hopes of finding the appropriate person who handles online advertising? I also wrote to Quinn XXXX, Kristy XXXX and Rob XXXX in that pursuit. If it makes sense to talk, let me know how your calendar looks?

AroundYou helps increase the revenues and exposure of local companies by marketing directly to targeted and local traffic. Each month we reach over 240,000 Australians thru our site by profiling events, activities and things to do. We profile companies thru our featured listings, Iphone App and targeted Google advertising. The benefit to users is that they can search their area free. The benefit for our clients is they can increase revenue and exposure by utilising the featured listings and targeted traffic. You can measure results and statistics online. Your listing will target specific suburbs and postcodes. Some clients include The Herald Sun, Leader Community Newspapers, The State Theatre and The Art Gallery of NSW.

If you are the appropriate person to speak with, what does your calendar look like? If not, who do you recommend I talk to?

Hey {!first name},

Here are some commonalities between Yesware and TOPO:

  • Twilio is a customer (and also an integration partner now powering our click-to-call feature)
  • We are a Salesforce.com ISV partner, and it looks like Salesforce.com is a client of yours
  • Our Director of Sales, Mike Maylon is on the speakers list at the Saleshacker conference. He also used to work at Netsuite, another client of yours

Most importantly, we’re focused on driving results. Customers like Twitter, Acquia, and The Financial Times have seen a 25% growth in new business using our product. Customers choose our sales technology to accelerate their sales efforts.

Let’s explore how we can work together to help your customers share the same experience our customers have had since using Yesware. I can also share with you some more customer success stories and why our market-leading product is chosen by high growth sales teams.

When is the best time for you to connect? I would be more than happy to facilitate an introduction to Mike if that’s preferred by you.

Cheers,

P.s.: it looks like your session title is TBD. If there is any data/information I can help provide you to strengthen your presentation, please let me know.

Subject: A few other experiments you can run to grow your email list
Body:

Hey {!first name},

Been a huge fan of your site since it first went up. Noticed you’ve been running several experiments to grow your email lists.

Here are a few lesser used strategies that drives explosive growth:

– Members only bonus area: You offer a lot of juicy bonuses to entice new signups. There doesn’t seem to be a way for existing members to also receive them right now. Think creating a members-only bonus area where existing subscribers can go to download your latest goodies would go long ways to build their long-term loyalty.
– Behavior settings on your optin box: Noticed your optin-box still pops up for people who already subscribed. You can use a much longer lasting cookie to stop it from annoying your existing subscribers.

I’ve been coding for the last several years with a focus on building viral growth engines. I recently coded all the backend for RoyalSee’s pre-launch campaign: [link]. They got 10K signups in 2 weeks.

Happy to lend a hand with future projects – let me know what you think.

Our customers like Intuit, Lyft, Workday, and Groupon now act more quickly/efficiently as a “first responder” by leveraging Wavefront, and in most cases, enriching/complimenting the use of AppD, New Relic, Graphite, and Splunk.

Subject: {!first name}, is your marketing automation tool working for you?
Body:

Hi {!first name},I understand you may currently be using Pardot as a marketing tool, and I was wondering if you’re experiencing any difficulty with it. Pardot users often find that they need a more scalable solution as their business grows, and as a result we’ve seen many customers switch to Marketo in recent months. These customers see immediate increases of 30-100% in productivity and a dramatic increase in leads – purely because they get much more capability in an easier-to-use package.

Why are Pardot users switching? Marketo removes the limitations that held them back – some of the major benefits that these customers have experienced with Marketo include: A much more productive, intuitive, and flexible interface for creating marketing campaigns (ranked #1 for user experience by independent analysts) Ability to quickly report on pipeline, revenue, and ROI by marketing campaign or channel Flexible lead scoring – which includes scoring models by product line or division, and automatic score reductions when your leads are inactive Drastically improved ability to leverage lead intelligence solutions inside your CRM For a limited time, we are also offering special pricing packages to make switching incredibly easy and attractive.

After looking at your website and registering for your white paper, I have some thoughts regarding where you may be losing people in the process. And, I’ve got some ideas you can implement fairly easily that should have a positive impact on lead conversion rates.

Let’s schedule 30 minutes to talk some more about this.

I wanted to connect with him because our email list targets a similar demographic with limited overlap. Seeing as our products are non-competitive, I wanted to touch base to see if he was up for brainstorming ways to leverage our existing user bases to grow both of our lists.

We did this with Company R in the past, and both parties received a 15% lift in new subscribers.

Any help is much appreciated.

Honestly lead generation costs more and more using the typical marketing channels.
Fortunately, we found a new growth hacking trick we could reach new leads 5times less than before!

I was skeptical first because I had experience with spending money on ads but no return. But believe me, it is not the usual “promote each other in email” type of cooperation, but proven a superior one, with less work, no risks, and multiple potentials.

Don’t let you loose a kind of free opportunity, leverage the power of our prosperous partnership.
